Create some “buzz” in your classroom with the drama of Nova Scotia bee families, bee anatomy, and the fight to be queen. This teacher resource, created by the Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History, is based on a workshop presented at the 2016 Atlantic Science Teachers Conference to help teachers create their own classroom hive of bee-related activities and learning. The presentation, activities, and videos will help teachers better understand, and teach about, Nova Scotia’s diverse bee species.
