Science On a Sphere® (SOS) is a globe that comes alive for visitors, offering an out-of-this-world education experience.
This room-sized global display system that uses computers and video projectors to project planetary data onto a six-foot-diameter sphere. National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) researchers developed SOS to help illustrate complex environmental processes in animated imagery.
