Serena Wu is a multilingual singer-songwriter from Halifax, Nova Scotia. Her music is pop-driven, and her songs are powerfully relatable, driven by emotional lyrics combined with upbeat percussion and catchy melodies. Serena has performed with Ashley MacIsaac at the 2021 Royal Nova Scotia International Tattoo and in Halifax for the 2022 Acadian National Day, where she sang on his hit song “Sleepy Maggie.”
She has performed "Assez," a song that encourages others to believe in themselves and not compare themselves to others, on numerous occasions for events such as International Women’s Day and International Day of Francophonie. https://serenawu.ca/
