Lynn-Marie Richard

Maritime Museum of the Atlantic Assistant Curator and Registrar

Lynn-Marie Richard is the Registrar of the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, part of the Nova Scotia Museum. She attended St. Francis Xavier University and joined the museum’s staff shortly after graduating in 1987. She has worked on a variety of projects including the History of Rowing in Halifax and Dartmouth, Sable Island Shipwrecks, The Marblehead to Halifax Ocean Race and the Frederick William Wallace exhibit. She has very much enjoyed organizing reunions for the crew of CSS Acadia, the museum’s largest artefact. Recently, Lynn-Marie played a key role in preparing the 2012 exhibit, “Cable Ships: Connecting Halifax to Titanic and the World.”
